Proposal must clearly address company's need for growth

Expected impact should include business diversification/growth, spin-offs, job creation, import substitution, export/export growth and increased revenue streams
2. Project Feasibility

Realistic and achievable business plan with clear resource allocation and timelines

Well-grounded financial projections and milestones based on expected business impact

Company demonstrates financial capability to effectively utilize the grant and sustain operations

Management team shows competency and commitment to execute proposed project successfully
3. Growth Potential

Business should have a clear path to higher revenue and profitability, ensuring long-term sustainability

Growth Facilitation Fund

What is the Growth Facilitation Fund?
The Growth Facilitation Fund is an in-house fund specifically designed to provide necessary financial support for MSMEs under the Elevate Programme. It enables companies to achieve critical impacts including revenue growth, local job creation, import substitution, and export growth.
DARe will fund up to 60% of eligible costs with quantum grant up to $100,000 per company

Technology Adoption / Machinery
Enhance customer experience through technology and/or increase production capacity with upgraded machinery to cater to more demands locally and internationally
Branding & Marketing
Create a strong marketing strategy and branding for local and international markets
Research & Development / Innovation

Innovate products and services to prepare for expansion, meet international standards and align with international consumer requirements

Related to prototyping, product testing, quality assurance
Internationalisation
Develop robust domestic market distribution networks before exporting, co-create and execute foreign market entry strategy by identifying international distributors and agents
Specialist Advisory
Consult market experts for regulatory insights, project execution guidance and business strategy consultation, engage international trade consultants for export regulations, logistics and overseas partnerships
To be eligible for the GFF, businesses must satisfy the following criteria:

Only eligible for Elevate companies
-
At least 60% local shareholding
-
Demonstrated active participation and commitment throughout the programme (Active participation in activities, responsive in engagements, submitted three progress reports consecutively)

Eligible companies will not apply for other DARe/BEDB funding support concurrently (i.e. Co-Matching Scheme)

Companies must be registered as 'Sendirian Berhad' upon approval
-
Each company is allowed to apply up to $100,000 through maximum 3 applications for different eligible activities

Applicants are required to reimburse DARe/BEDB if certain agreed milestones are not met

Implementation period to be kept at a minimum of one (1) year
