China-ASEAN Young Leaders Growth Program 2026

In collaboration with the ASEAN Secretariat and the CAEXPO Secretariat, this biennial programme nurtures the next generation of leaders through high-level dialogues, interactive training workshops, and insightful visits. Participants gain valuable opportunities to advance their careers, build business connections, and expand their international networks.

Launched to deepen exchange and cooperation between China and ASEAN member states, the China-ASEAN Young Leaders Growth Program provides a dynamic platform for young leaders to expand their horizons, share innovative ideas, and contribute to the flourishing relationship between China and ASEAN. Participants will immerse themselves in a series of enriching activities, including attending the prestigious China-ASEAN Expo, visiting key cities, and engaging in thought-provoking discussions.

Programme Highlights

Activities during the programme include:

  • Attending 23rd CAEXPO Opening Ceremony and tour of exhibition pavilions

  • Attending China-ASEAN Young Leaders’ Roundtable Dialogue

  • Seminars

  • Training workshops
    Invitation to major programs on China ASEAN Cooperation/research programs
    Invitation to participate in the China-ASEAN Policy Seminars and others

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants should:

  • Under the age of 45

  • Have high interest on the relationship between China and ASEAN especially on the China-ASEAN FTA 3.0

  • Youth MSMEs business especially in AI and ICT sector

  • Have publications, awards and achievements in key areas of China-ASEANcooperation

  • Possess an international vision, cross-disciplinary and diversified thinking and expressive eloquence

  • Preferably can speak both Chinese and English

Application Requirements

Request from candidates:

  • Cover Letter

  • Resume (including achievements in promoting friendly cooperation between China and ASEAN)

  • Any Honors/Awards on their cooperation and relations with China

  • Fill in Application on Annex 3

Please be informed, there will be sponsorship by organizer which includes airfare, accommodation, meals and local transportation service.

The organiser will provide sponsorship covering:

  • Airfare

  • Accommodation (3 nights)

  • Meals

  • Local transportation services
