In order to qualify for a Proudly Brunei Business Award, applicants should fulfill the specific criteria defined for the award category in which they are interested. The selection criteria differ depending on the category. For more information, refer to the Business Awards page.
Yes. Any Brunei-registered business entity whether sole proprietorship, partnership or Sdn Bhd can apply for the award, subject to fulfilling other criteria.
No. Startups need to be in operation for a minimum of 3 years to be eligible for the Startup Category.
Yes. As long as your business meets the category-specific criteria for the applied award categories.
Yes. As long as you are 35 years old at the time of application for the award.
While the exact documents required for the Proudly Brunei Business Awards may vary depending on the award category and specific criteria, some common documents that the nominees might need to provide include:
- Business registration certificate 
- Last 3 years financial statements (audited, if applicable) 
- Business licenses or permits (relevant to their industry) 
- Company profile or overview 
- Evidence of business growth, innovation, or achievements (case studies, project descriptions, etc.) 
- Testimonials or references from clients, partners, or stakeholders 
- Any relevant certifications or accreditations

The Proudly Brunei Business Awards is a Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) organized prestigious national initiative that recognizes and celebrates outstanding Brunei based companies for their excellence and contributions to their respective sectors. By fostering a competitive business environment and promoting entrepreneurial culture, the awards support Brunei's national vision of a dynamic and sustainable economy.

These awards recognize excellence in various sectors and achievements in specific industries.
Winners of the award will receive: a one-year feature through a promotional campaign with utilization of the Proudly Brunei winners’ logo; collaboration opportunities with strategic partners; and bonus prizes. More information on the strategic partners and the benefits will be shared soon.
